Create a Free Shipping goal

The Free Shipping Bar incentivizes customers by offering shipping discounts or free shipping once their cart reaches a specified value.

• Progress Tracking: A dynamic bar displays the cart’s current value and visually guides customers toward the free shipping threshold.
• Flexible Rules: Set minimum order values to trigger free shipping or discounted rates.

1. Click on the “Create Deal” button in the app home page.

2. Select “Free shipping bar” from the options and click “Create” to begin setting up your discount.

For the smoothest customer experience, we recommend choosing Automatic if you’re creating up to 25 discounts. Planning to offer more? Go with the Code option - we’ll still try to auto-apply these codes where possible, though compatibility may vary by theme.

3. Choose your discount type & set your goal

To apply your shipping discount globally:

• Select All countries to enable the discount for every available shipping destination in your store.
• (Optional) Exclude specific countries if needed—simply choose them from the exclusion list.

Alternatively, you can target the shipping discount to chosen countries:

• Select Selected countries
• Pick the specific countries where the discount should apply

Note: The countries listed here are obtained from the Shopify settings -> Markets

If you want to offer free shipping, set the discount as 100%.

4. Maximize savings with discount combinations

Bring your discount to life! Don’t forget to click “Save” on the header when you’re done to launch your exciting new discount strategy.

5. Customize widget appearance

Once saved, you’ll access the editing screen with a “Customize now” button to style your discount widget - a simple one-time setup that makes your offers pop!

6. Configure the widget position

The tiers discount for Free shipping, Free gift with purchase & Progressive cart discount will be displayed in the Cart Progress Bar widget.

7. Add the widget to your product page

For Shopify Theme 2.0: Navigate to your product template in the theme editor, click “Add block”, then go to the “Apps” tab and select the “Cart Progress Bar widget” widget to display your current cart progress.

If you’re not using Shopify Theme 2.0 or prefer to place the widget in a specific custom location, you can select the “Using Customize” option instead.

Eg: You want to display the cart progress bar widget on the cart drawer, let open your storefront and find the HTML id or class of the position on your cart drawer.
